Big Story Workshop: Online Version
Starts 5th / 6th September
If you’re like most of the people on my list, you already know a few things…
You know you need to be nurturing your database. You know you need to be emailing more regularly. This is basic stuff – you don’t need me to tell you that.
The problem is that business gets in the way. Fires happen. Emergencies take precedence. Building that customer nurturing system gets pushed down the priority list.
This is potentially a silent ‘bleeding neck’ problem in your business…
What if most of your leads just fall through the cracks, because you don’t have the systems in place to stay in touch?
Then I’d like to invite you to join me virtually this September, for the first (online) Big Story Workshop…
I ran the first Big Story Workshop in January as a place for busy small business owners to take a step back from their business, and work on their marketing systems. Over three days we worked on their core marketing message. We pulled apart each other’s stories. And we mapped out which stories belonged in what places in the marketing funnel.
I actually think this is the highest level of marketing work you can do. It’s something you shouldn’t just ‘outsource’ to an agency. Because when YOU determine what your core message should be, it actually becomes a core part of your business. You come away with a core story that resonates with your audience; not a story you bolt onto your marketing as an attention-grabbing tactic.
The next Big Story Workshop will start next month. This time, travel won’t be an issue, because I’m running the course online.
Over seven weeks you’ll take a few hours away from your business, to work on your story in a safe intimate group setting. You’ll untangle your story, decide which parts to tell in what places, and produce an outline plan of what story to tell when people enter your world.
What won’t change about the course this time is the collaborative nature. I’m only accepting 14 students onto the course, split into two groups. You’ll learn from the other people on the course; not just from me.
At the end of the course you’ll come away with a clear communications plan… and an endless bank of ideas for emails, Facebook ads, Google ads and more. You’ll know what stories to tell in what places. And you’ll never run short of content ideas ever again. That’s my promise to you.
A new introduction to the course is the addition of two implementation options. As part of the tuition price you can choose to either buy the course with my Nurture Email Mastery training, if you plan to write the copy in-house. Or you can hire my team to write and implement 15 emails for you.
Both options offer significant savings over my regular prices. Both options also include three month’s free access to my membership group Story Selling Insider, with an option to subscribe at the current rate at the end of that period.
(If you’re an existing Story Selling Insider subscriber email me – there’s a reduced workshop price.)
If you have any questions about this training, please email me. I’m happy to jump on a quick call if you want to determine whether this is right for you.
This is what Luke, who came to the January course, had to say about the Big Story Workshop:
I really think everyone who is serious about marketing should take this course. Story is so fundamental and very few people know how to do it really well. I think the process you have and teach is amazing. I think a lot of people get hung up on not seeing the stories in their own lives, when every business is built on stories whether you like it or not. This [course] makes it a lot more explicit, and allows you be more deliberate when you are putting your message together. And doing it in a way that is meaningful for whoever it is you are trying to reach.
The early bird pricing is valid until the end of August, but I’m only taking a maximum of 14 students.
Once again the course details are here.
